About the Ceiling Connoisseurs

The Ceiling Connoisseurs is an organization based out of Rochester, MI.  Originating out of Oakland Unviersity, our goal is to explore the world's most beautiful ceilings and share our passion for this under-appreciated art form. We believe that ceilings play an essential role in the overall design and aesthetics of a building, and we strive to inspire a newfound appreciation for their beauty and significance. Through our travels, we aim to connect with people from all walks of life, sharing our knowledge and love for ceilings, and promoting cultural exchange and understanding. Join us in our quest to discover and appreciate the overlooked beauty above us.
 

The Ceiling Connoisseurs were made an official registered student organization at Oakland University in the fall of 2023.  Since then, we have grown significantly, to over 150 members.  The Oakland University Office of Student Involvement also recognized the Ceiling Connoisseurs as the "Best New Registered Student Organization of 2023-2024".
